K L S Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi secured the place in ‘Platinum’ category in a survey jointly conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently. The survey of Industry-linked Technical Institutes across India was carried out to assess the current status of partnerships between AICTE approved technical institutions and industry. The survey was based on six basic parameters such as academic curriculum, teaching faculty, governance, infrastructure, placements and research and services / project & skill development.
More than 9500 institutes participated in this survey and 4400 eligible institutes were shortlisted and undergone the complete survey. In total 262 institutes were categorized under ‘Gold’ category and 368 institutes are categorized in to ‘Silver’ category. 184 institutes across India secured ‘Platinum’ category and KLS GIT is one amongst them.
KLS GIT’s governing council Chairman, Shri. M. R. Kulkarni and other management members congratulated the entire team of KLS GIT for this magnificent achievement.
