Belagavi North MLA Anil Beneke inaugurated the ‘welcome to Kundanagari Belagavi’ a welcome arch on the state highway near Basavanakudachi on the outskirts of the city.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, Rs.24 lakhs have been spent by the city corporation. This arch will provide information to those traveling along this route. It will also helpful to make everyone know that City corporation limits starts from that point. City corporation to install similar welcome arch on the National Highway near KLE Hospital.
The road connecting the Belagavi Airport to be upgraded to a four lane in the coming days at a cost of ₹ 25 crores MLA said.
