The Belagavi-based Vega Auto Accessories Pvt. Ltd., one of the major helmet manufacturers in the country, is poised to become a leading producer in the world as company set to start work on new unit in Belagavi district.
Vega Auto Accessories is planning to establish a unit for manufacture of safety helmets and accessories at Hattargi village in Hukkeri Taluk of Belagavi district.
The company to establish manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs.219.08 Crores generating emplyoment to about 1708 persons.
The manufacturing unit to come up in 16 acres of land touching Pune-Bengaluru National Highway (AH47) near Aequs Aerospace SEZ (Belagavi Aerospace Cluster) in Hattargi village of Hukkeri Taluk.

Vega Auto Accessories is also in process of setting up a helmet manufacturing unit at Udyambag in Belagavi district of Karnataka. The proposed manufacturing unit will have a capacity to produce 6,000 numbers per day. Work on the project worth Rs 100 crore was commenced in the year 2018.
