Public Works Minister of Karnataka, Satish Jarakiholi, held a crucial meeting with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss 20 important road projects in the state.
Among the key projects on the agenda were the construction of the Shiradi Ghat tunnel, an elevated corridor for Belagavi-Gokak road, and elevated corridor on the old NH-4 Pune-Bengaluru highway in Belagavi city, Bypass road for Belagavi, Ring road at Raichur and other important projects.
During the meeting on Wednesday, Satish Jarakiholi personally urged the Union Minister to expedite the progress of these road construction projects. In response, Nitin Gadkari instructed the officials of the Public Works Department to prepare and submit the outline plans for these projects.
