The tallest Nandi in the country to be officially thrown open to the public on Thursday.
Former Ramadurga MLA Ashok Pattan said the 22-foot-tall Nandi Murthy (Basavanna), built in front of Lord Shiva’s idol in the Mullur hill on the outskirts of Ramadurga taluk of Belagavi district, will be unveiled on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, he said the beautiful Nandi statue is 22 feet tall, 14 feet wide and 32 feet long. This statue is the tallest statue in India. Staff of The Guinness Record has has taken measurements of the statue.
