Starting on Monday, during the joint legislature session in Belagavi, all 300 legislators will participate by planting a tree sapling each around Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi.
Arrangements are made by officials to plant 300 saplings in the vicinity of Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi. Each sapling will be accompanied by a beautifully designed plaque bearing the name of a legislator. This plaque will serve as a lasting tribute, allowing legislators to revisit and reminisce about these moments even after many years.
To make Suvarna Vidhana Soudha greener, the government nursery will carefully choose and store saplings near the location. The secretarial staff have already pinpointed the ideal planting spots for the saplings. Notably, CM Siddaramaiah, DCM DK Shivakumar, Khader, Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, along with all 34 ministers and legislators, totaling 75 from the Council and 225 from the Assembly, will actively participate in planting the saplings.
