Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Sunday after Participating in the first death anniversary of senior BJP leader Suresh Angadi and unveiling his bronze statue in the city, the Chief Minister said the State Government will write to the Union Railway Minister to name the Bengaluru-Belagavi Superfast express train after the former Union Minister Suresh C Angadi.
CM Basavaraj Bommai also promised to extend full support from the State Government for taking up the Dharwad-Belagavi direct rail line work.
Cm said – He was the voice of the whole of North Karnataka, and his contribution to the Rani Channamma University is exceptional. He also said that he had a great love for Hinduism.
The Karnataka Railway has undergone a major revolution. He was responsible for the implementation of the projects., and also had much influence on the Railway Board. Bommai recalled that the Suresh Angadi was an example to many in utilising the power being in top position.
