Low-cost carrier SpiceJet to suspend operations from Belagavi Airport from December 10. The airline currently has one scheduled services to the airport – from Delhi (DEL).
Spicejet had operated flights on Delhi=Belagavi-Delhi on daily basis so far with very good load factor. It is matter of concern that Belagavi airport loosing connections to major cities.
Spicejet also withdrawn service between Belagavi to Mumbai and Hyderabad recently, now airline has stopped bookings for Delhi-Belagavi sector is quite shocking news for the businesses and travellers here. This means that passengers wanting to fly to the Delhi will now have to take more than five hours of journey with connecting flights.
