Spicejet airlines on Thursday operated Boeing 737 Max 8 between Delhi-Belagavi. The aircraft, bearing registration VT-MXC, touched down at Belagavi Airport at 08:50am after 2-hour 15 minutes journey from the Delhi Airport.
The low-cost airline launched air service on the Belagavi-Delhi route on August 13, 2021 by Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Initially airline operated flight for two days in a week. Frequency was increased to three days a week after getting good response. And is now flying four days a week.

The airline so far operated Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800 Aircrafts for this route, and today ie., On Thursday airline deployed 189 seater Boeing 737 max 8 aircraft. The airline witnessing passenger load above 90% most of the time.
Spicejet currently has 13 Boeing 737 max 8 aircrafts in its fleet. The Boeing 737 Max 8 has returned to skies across the globe, two years after being grounded after two deadly crashes. The airplane has since been cleared to fly by aviation safety agencies around the world.
