Soon, Belagavi may get an air taxi service. a Gurugram based air service providing company called ‘Air Taxi’ has started hiring Security officers for Belagavi.
Air Taxi in INDIA is a scheduled airline conceptualised to operate on short flight routes, offering the quickest checkin in the world. Air Taxi is a brand owned by Aviation Connectivity and Infrastructure Developers Pvt. Ltd. The company is a major bidder in UDAN RCS and has been awarded over 32 RCS routes.
Air Taxi agency may opt for a four-seater Tecnam P2006T VT-ATC aircraft for its operations from Belagavi.
When contacted, Belagavi airport director, Rajesh Kumar Maurya, said the Air taxi service at Belagavi airport is in planning stage, In near future operations will begin.
