District Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has said that the he will meet Union minister of road transport Nitin Gadkari to seek grant for the construction of Ring road in Belagavi.
He was speaking to reporters on Saturday, Efforts are being made to include Ring road project in this budget.
The Proposal of four laning Airport Road have been submitted to Government of Karnataka. We have asked for Rs.25 crore. Due to Covid all works were on hold. We will expedite procedure and start work soon he said.
Later Mla Anil Benake said Rs.174 crore is required in the first phase. the action would be taken on the same.
