Construction of the second entrance to Belagavi railway station is in full swing. The ramp work has begun.
The opening of the second entrance is aimed at decongesting Belagavi that witnesses a daily footfall of 15,000 to 20,000 and The second entrance will be of benefit to passengers coming from Belagavi South areas like Tilakwadi, Shahpur, Angol, Vadagaon etc.
The second entrance has double-storeyed building and will have facilities like Ticket counters, toilets, Lifts, Ramp, car parking and other facilities. The railways to provide the train chart and time-table at the second entry for convenience of passengers.
