A Rs 4.14 crore project is being implemented to provide all kinds of civic amenities to the people of Rukmini Nagar in Belagavi, MLA Anil Benake flagged off the work on Tuesday
He performed Bhoomi Pooja for various Development works in Rukmini Nagar. He said – There are 12 slums in Belagavi city. the project was firstly implemented in Rukmini Nagar as pilot project with the aim of completing the project in a very short time.
Community Hall and skill development centers are being set up to hold a gathering of people here. Mla said the Anganwadi center and playground, a senior citizens’ theme park, a market facility, a sanitary vending machine, Digital Information Display Boards and drinking water kiosks will be provided.
MLA Anil Benake called on the people and the authorities to cooperate and make the project a success, without delaying the work.
