The Regional Forensic Science laboratory at Ramteerth nagar, Belagavi has been upgraded recently for speedy disposal of drug related cases.
The regional forensic laboratory in Belagavi has been provided with equipment for analysing documents, performing chemical experiments and psychological tests.
The upgradation work was commenced in November last year. Karnataka police upgrading the five regional forensic laboratories in Mysuru, Kalaburagi, Mangaluru, Davanagere and Belagavi in which most of them are now ready.
Karnataka Government also Govt aim to set up basic Forensic Science Laboratories (FSL) in all districts.
