Making foray into India in 1996, Pizza Hut opened its first restaurant in Bengaluru and since then it had captured a dominant and significant share of the pizza market and had registered an impressive growth rate.
Pizza Hut India To Expand Outlet Network :
Pizza Hut India, owned by Yum Brands in the country, is planning to expand its outlets to over 700 in the next two years, based on the growing popularity of western fast-food in the country. In the long-term, India is one of the company’s most important markets. In the medium term, the company plans to double the number of outlets. Pizza Hut currently has 360 restaurants across 100 cities in India, which the company is planning to double by 2022. This expansion move of the pizza chain is a new business opportunity for the signage companies whose expertise involves in in-store branding, graphics and design projects.
