The long-delayed Belagavi city corporation polls will be held tomorrow. For the 58-wards in Belagavi corporation, 385 candidates are in the fray.
In the wake of the voting, District Collector MG Hiremath reviewed the booths and facilities.
Early this morning, the electoral staff from BK Model High School in the city, which is the center of the mastering, have taken the election materials, including the polls, to the booths assigned to them. Against this background the preparations for the final moment in the booths were reviewed by MG Hiremath.
He had a discussion with election officials and staff assigned to the booth and advised them to be careful, and there shouldn’t be any problems in the voting process.

4.31 lakh voters:
A total of 431,383 citizens in the city has right to cast vote of which 2,15,364 are men and 2,16,019 are women voters including 560 service voters.
A total of 415 polling booths have been set up in 58 wards. Five staffs will be assigned to each polling booth. A total of 2500 staff/officers have been deployed for election work, which includes an additional 20% officer /staff.

The time allotted for voting is from 7 am to 6 pm on Friday, said District Collector Hiremath. All measures have been taken to make the election free, fair and peaceful.
District Collector Hiremath has requested all eligible voters in the city to cast vote without missing.
