The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) is once again back with its special tour packages to popular tourist destinations near Belagavi City.
According to official twitter handle of the NWKRTC, the packages have been made available for Hidkal Dam, Gokak Falls, Godchinmalki Falls and Amboli Falls (Maharashtra) which are about 51 km, 73 km, 48 km and 70 km respectively from Belagavi city.
Belagavi-Gokak falls-Belagavi : The bus service is scheduled to be operated on every second, fourth saturday-Sundays. The service will be started from this sunday (July 22). Fare Rs. 200 per head for Gokak Falls. The bus will leave Belagavi Central Bus Stand (CBs) at 9 a.m. and reach Hidkal dam at 10 a.m. After allowing an hour for sight-seeing, the bus will proceed further at 11 a.m. and reach Godchinmalki Falls at 11-30 a.m. After one-hour thirty minutes break, the bus will leave at 1 p.m. for Gokak Falls by 1-30 p.m., where the tourists can enjoy the scenic beauty. The bus will leave Gokak Falls at 4 p.m. and return to Belagavi city by 6 p.m.
Belagavi-Amboli falls-Belagavi : The package for Belagavi-Amboli will be on every second, fourth saturday-Sundays . The fare is Rs. 290 per head. The bus will leave CBT at 9 a.m. and reach Nagar Tas at 11 a.m. for an-hour break for sight seeing. It will leave at 11.30 a.m. The bus will leave at 12 p.m. and reach Amboli Falls at 12.30 p.m. The bus will have its departure at 4.00 p.m. and return to Belagavi Central Bus Stand at 6.00 p.m.
