In an attempt to provide better passenger service, The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation – (NWKRTC) on Thursday announced running of a daily non-stop AC sleeper bus between Belagavi-Bengaluru starting from Monday (16 Jan).
The bus will travel only via Nippani, Sankeshwar and Belagavi to reach Bengaluru. It leaves Chikkodi at 7.30 pm and reaches Belagavi Central Bus Station (CBS) at around 9.30 pm. The bus leaves Belagavi Central bus stand at 9.45 pm and reaches Bengaluru at 6.00 am on the next day.

This bus takes 8 hour 15 min to reach Bengluru from Belagavi due to elimination of stoppages. Where as other premium buses takes more than 10 hour 30 minutes.
The fare is fixed at Rs.1139 per head (Belagavi-Bengaluru). Advance tickets can be booked through: www.ksrtc.in, according to a press release.
