Now North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation Joins hands and has started taking its voter awareness campaign to its commuters.
North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation creating awareness by putting up slogans on tickets in Belagavi Nagara Saarige buses, Gramina Saarige’s and Vayavya Saarige’s (Talukas Buses).
Nwkrtc Belagavi Division tickets now have the sentence (in Kannada): ” Belagavi Loksabha By-elections are on 17th April 2021, Cast your right by voting” to encourage commuters to ensure they vote.
During the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the polling percentage recorded at the Belagavi constituency was 67.84%. Hence, to increase electoral participation, the Election Commission is carrying out various programmes under the Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
