Nilaji village Lake to get face-lift

The long pending demand of Nilaji villagers to be fulfilled soon. as Belagavi Rural constituency MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar has kick started the lake development works at a cost of 1.5 Crores.

Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited (KNNL) has sanctioned a total of Rs 1.50 crore for the development of the Nilaji village lake.

Villager’s long-term demands such as the walking track, the construction of a separate tank for the Visarjan of lord Ganesha idols and the washing facility will be provided

Lakshmi Hebbalkar instructed the contractors that the work should be completed in a timely manner in addition to maintaining quality. Gradually all the works are being carried out as per the wishes of the villagers. “My dream is to make my Belagavi rural a model constituency” said Laxmi Hebbalkar.

Senior citizens, villagers, village panchayat president, vice president, members, Nagesh Desai, Chayappa, Deepak, Madhuri and Ningappa were present during the workshop.
