The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways through National Highways Authority of India is engaged in the development of National Highways and as part of this endeavour, it has been decided to undertake Construction of 6 laning from Belagavi to Sankeshwar Bypass.
The Six-laning of NH-48 from Km. 515 to Km. 555 in Belagavi district in the state of Karnataka under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-1) through an Engineering. Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract process has been initiated.
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for construction of 6 laning from Belagavi to Sankeshwar at the estimated cost of Rs 1295.44 crores.
It is also mentioned that work of Six-laning of this stretch has to be completed in 2.5 years from date of awarding.

The total contract period of the stretch is 10 years in which concessionaire would be required to maintain and operate the stretch.

Interested Bidder must submit its Technical Bid at https://etenders.gov.in and https://bims.gov.in and Financial bid at https://etenders.gov.inon or before 29.09.2021 (upto 1100 hours IST), Bids received online shall be opened on 30.09.2021 (at 1130 hours IST).
