Belagavi MP Smt. Mangal Angadi met Union Minister Of State Railways Raosaheb Danve at his office in Delhi on Wednesday and made a representation to him to resume the services of passenger trains that were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
She requested for the resumption of the passenger trains on several sections of the railways that had been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She also mentioned, Recently I had a short visit to Ghataprabha Railway Station, the passengers and the public has urged to resume passenger trains as soon as possible.
The minister responded to request of MP by saying that a decision will be taken soon.
