The Centre on Friday (24 Mar) approved the airline’s domestic summer schedule for 2023. The summer schedule is effective from March 26, till October 28 this year.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved the summer flight schedule of domestic flights from three airlines IndiGo, Star Air and Spicejet to 11 routes from Belagavi airport.
Star Air, the aviation vertical of Sanjay Ghodawat Group to add two new routes : Tri-weekly Belagavi-Jaipur and Belagavi-Bengaluru daily flight and to increase frequencies of existing routes such as Belagavi-Mumbai (Now daily), Belagavi-Ahmedabad (Now daily), Belagavi-Tirupati (Now daily), Belagavi-Jodhpur (4 days/Week) Belagavi-Nagpur (3 Days/week), Belagavi-Indore (4 Days/week), Belagavi-Surat (3 Days/week) in the summer schedule.
An Indian budget airline Spicejet to make come back with one of the most popular route Delhi-Belagavi-Delhi daily flight this summer. This route will be operated by Boeing-738 aircraft (189 seater) as per DGCA schedule.

Where as, IndiGo, one of India’s largest budget airline to operate daily three flights to Bengaluru (2) and Hyderabad from Belagavi.
