The mega flyover project is being planned for Belagavi city to give relief from traffic woes.
District in-charge Minster and Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi has responded to the traffic problem of Belagavi city and has given green signal for the construction of flyover in the city in the first progress review meeting.
On Tuedsay, a meeting of district level officials was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office and the officials were instructed to prepare a blueprint for the construction of the flyovers in the city. After the meeting, Belagavi North Constituency MLA Asif (Raju) Sait, Belagavi Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil, City Police Commissioner Dr. Boralingaiah and Public Works Department officials visited and inspected the site for the implementation of the flyover plan.

MLA, Deputy Commissioner along with officials conducted a site inspection near Shree Nagar, Mahantesh Nagar and Gandhinagar regarding the proposed project of constructing flyover and service road on the way to enter Belagavi city from the National Highway. Officials of National Highways Department and Public Works Department were also present.
