Dr. Tontad Siddarama Swamiji of Gadag-Dambala inaugurated Medical Inspection Room at Belagavi Airport by Vijay Ortho and Trauma Centre (VOTC) On Wednesday.
Already in November 2020, Airport Authority Of India has set up Medical Inspection Room in Old terminal Building, Now VOTC has setup new Medical Inspection Room in the Arrival area in new terminal building.

After inauguration, Dr. Tontad Siddarama Swamiji spoke to media. This facility would help the Passengers who arrive two hours prior to flight departure incase they face any health issues. Dr.Ravi Patil’s work is commendable as they made centre functional all seven days in a week.
Speaking to media, VOTC Medical Director Ravi Patil said, the Belagavi airport did not receive any medical facilities. Elderly passengers also come to the airport. This checkpoint has been set up to provide preliminary and emergency care for all passengers free of charge. We are doing this as a social work. We have hired a doctor to manage this successfully. Doctors are here for seven days a week.

The Gurusidda Swamiji of Karanjimath, Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji of Hukkeri Hiremath was present. Airport Director Rajeshakumara Maurya, Assistant General Manager Pratap Desai, Advocate Basavaraja Rotti, Dr. Somashekhar Poojar was among others.
