Laxman Savadi to inaugurate 60-Bed Free Covid Care Centre in Athani

Free 60-bed Covid Care Centre to be inaugurated tomorrow in Kittur Rani Chennamma Girls Residential school in Athani Taluk of Belagavi district said Deputy chief minister of Karnataka and Transport Minister, Laxman Savadi.

This Covid Care Centre have been set up at the cost of 50 Lakhs by Dcm Laxman. Savadi.

For those suffering from lack of bed or oxygen in hospitals, this Centre will be helpful. 10 litres and 15 litres capacity Oxygen concentrators of quantity 50 have already been purchased. That it will come to public use from tomorrow, minister Said.

Along with the Oxygen Concentrator Kit, flu-testing thermometer, Saturation and pulse-checking oximeter is also offered.

Laxman Savadi said that Pandemic like Covid-19, has brought bed shortage in many Hospitals of Athani, This primary care centre, providing a well-equipped oxygen concentrator beds for people in distress, who are in need of beds, oxygen and medicine.
