Kidwai regional centre to come up at Vadagaon

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said that unit of Kidwai will be coming up in Belagavi, and land for the same will be finalised soon.

A sum of Rs 50 crore has been earmarked in the Karnataka Budget 2022-23 for the construction of the Kidwai Hospital in Belagavi city.

Mr. Bommai said that the committee would ensure early clearances for the projects announced in the state budget at one go and ensure speedy implementation of the works. In addition, it would also oversee the implementation the budget announcements, he said.

He said that already necessary instructions had been given to all the departments to expedite budget implementation.

Belagavi South Constituency MLA Abhay Patil has suggested that land near Vadgaon will be suitable for this next to the 10 bed hospital built by Smart city opposite Jail school.
