Yet again, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Forest of Karnataka Umesh Katti has spoken about the separate Statehood for north Karnataka.
Forest Minister Umesh Katti predicts that North Karnataka will become a separate state after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He also said that we have all the ready infrastructure, basic amenities to a separate state needs.
Speaking at an event organized by the Bar Association in Belagavi, he said that by 2024, 50 new states will emerge in the country. Then Karnataka will be divided in two. A recent survey warned that there is shortfall in Drinking water in Bengaluru. He added that the traffic problem has also increased in Bengaluru.
He mentioned that Dharwad has High Court, Belagavi has Suvarna Vidhana Soudha and also an International airport to come up in Belagavi District. So we do have that infrastructure needed for a separate state.
