With the heralding of the New Year, January 1, 2021, the state government has set up a single e-mail ID to receive all complaints addressed to the chief minister.
The new e-mail ID is cm.kar@nic.in
Currently, the chief minister’s office used to have three separate e-mail IDs for receiving complaints, which had resulted in duplication and unnecessary confusion.
The chief minister’s office had started the practice of disposing of all complaints addressed to the chief minister through e-mail from the chief minister’s secretariat from August 2020.

The institution of a single e-mail ID for receipt and redressal of grievances from the chief minister’s office would help in streamlining the entire system, the chief minister’s office said in a press release.
The chief minister’s additional chief secretary requested the public to note the new e-mail ID and send all complaints or grievances to cm.kar@nic.in
