Minister of large and medium industries Murugesh Nirani said that department has shortlisted three Cities for the setting up of Fertilizer industries in Karnataka.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nirani said that we have shortlisted three cities for the setting up Fertilizer Industry – Mangaluru, Belagavi and Davangere.
Mangalore is the first priority for this project. Next priority is given to Davangere and Belagavi. Site inspection have been already done by the foreign company, the government would be ready to provide all kinds of assistance, including purchasing space and single window clearance etc to the industry, he said.
The Industry will be set up with the help of Union Government which will help in creating 10,000 employment opportunities, he added.
