Very soon, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the nation’s top oil firm to commission its Aviation Fuel Station (AFS) at Belagavi Airport.
An agreement was signed by Airport Director, Belagavi Airport Rajesh Kumar Maurya with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) in November 2021 for setting up an Aviation Fuel station on 13,000 Sqft area for 3 years. Now, All required infrastructure is ready at the airport premises.
Currently, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has aviation fuel station at Belagavi Airport. With commissioning of IOC, Airport to have Two fuel stations where more aircrafts will be able to fuel at Belagavi itself.
The Belagavi airport is operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI) and located at 10 km from the Belagavi city. The commissioning of the Indian Oil AFS at Belagavi is expected to boost air connectivity in this region. It will be more convenient and beneficial for Airlines and upcoming Flying Training Organisations (FTOs).

Belagavi airport, presently operates flight services to Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Tirupati, Surat and Nashik. and is the operational hub and Base of Star Air airline.
