3606 Trainee Airmen successfully completed their basic training at Basic Training Institute Air Force Station Sambra, Belagavi and moved out to various Trade Training Establishments of Air Force in an impressive Passing Out Parade held on 31 Jul 21.
Air Commodore SD Mukul, Air Officer Commanding, Airmen Training School Belagavi was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The Chief Guest reviewed the parade and presented trophies to the meritorious trainees.
Addressing the parade, the Reviewing Officer emphasised upon the need to keep abreast with emerging technologies which impact the Operational environment of Air Force. He underlined the significance of developing professional skills and maintaining a steep learning curve during different stages of training. He also said that ample opportunities are available for everyone to improve their profile and growth in Air Force based on individual merit, resolve and commitment.
The RO reiterated the importance of precautions to be adhered to in our fight against COVID-19 and urged that they must continue to be careful about their personal hygiene and social distancing in trade phase training as well.

The highlights of the Passing Out Parade was impeccable turnout and outstanding drill movements of the trainees. All spectators including various dignitaries were spellbound by the trainees all round performance.
Among the Prize Winners from the newly passed out Trainees were AC(U/T) Balaji M who was adjudged as the Best in General Service Training, AC(U/T) Surendar Kumar as Best in Academics, AC(U/T) Manish Chourasia as Best Marksman and AC(U/T) Kuldeep being adjudged as “Overall First in Order of Merit”.
