India’s Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have identified several highway corridors of economic importance and see them carrying 25% of freight by 2030.
Around 26,163 km of new and existing routes (to be upgraded to expressway standards) have been identified as 44 Economic Corridor projects. Under Bharatmala Pariyojana Program (BMP) Phase 1, approximately 9000 km of projects are in various stages of development with Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) being prepared for the rest.
Belagavi–Hunagunda -Raichur four lane highway of 325km to be constructed at the cost of Rs.12500 crores in 6 Phases under the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic corridor — Nitin Gadkari had done virtual inauguration of the same on 17th January 2021.
Now, India’s Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) released a notification on land acquision for Hyderabad-Panaji Economic corridor in Belagavi. The stretch of land Belagavi-Hungund-Raichur from Des CH. 0+000 to 43+800 Stretch (EC-10-Hyderabad-Panaji) in the state of KARNATAKA :

MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION : New Delhi, the 28th March, 2022
S.O. 1405(E).-In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four laning etc.), maintenance, management and operation of Belagavi-Hungund Raichur Stretch (EC10-Hyderabad-Panaji) in the stretch of land from Km. 0+000 to Km. 43+800 in the district of BELAGAVI in the state of KARNATAKA, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under subsection (1) of section 3C of the said Act.
Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, Special Land Acquisition Officer, NHAI, Bagalkot at C/O Shobha Yadahalli, 4th Cross, P.No. 37, S.No.123/1B, Vidyagiri, Bagalkot, Karnataka in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final.
The land plans and other details of the land to be acquired under their notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.

Economic Corridors of India or Industrial Corridors of India, 44 corridors 26,200 km (16,300 mi) were identified and 9,000 km (5,600 mi) will be taken up in phase-I, they exclude 6 National Corridors, they include:66 8,000 km (5,000 mi) inter-corridors (IC) & 116 7,500 km (4,700 mi) feeder routes (FR) were identified for Bharatmala.
