To address public grievances, Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait has launched four helpline numbers as promised in the election manifesto.
Speaking at a press conference in the city on Saturday, he said, “Public can call these helpline numbers regarding health, education, water, sewerage, road chaos etc. The problems will be immediately brought to the attention of the officials of the concerned department, and our team will discuss the matter with the officials and help to find a solution. If there are serious problems, I myself will visit the place and inspect and take action to solve it,” he said.

The complaints registered to these numbers will be attended within 24 hours. These helpline numbers will be active from 10 am to 5 pm.

Procedure for Appointment of Doctor: “Doctors will be appointed to the city’s super specialty hospital as soon as possible and action will be taken to treat the poor patients of the district. At present, BIMS also has a 50 percent shortage of doctors and there is a shortage of more than 60 medical and other staff. MLA Asif Sait assured that this matter will be brought to the attention of the government and soon action will be taken to fill up the posts.
