The registration for Gruha Jyoti scheme in Karnataka has begun, The beneficiaries/ Residents can start registering for the scheme on Seva Sindhu portal under a special custom-made page for the scheme.
The residents of Karnataka must start to fill out their forms to start getting benefits from the scheme.
Gruha Jyothi scheme provides provision for free electricity for every residential household of Karnataka whose monthly electricity usage is less than the average monthly consumption for the financial year 2022-23 + 10 per cent and within the 200 units limit.
Steps to fill form online for Gruha Jyoti scheme

Step 1 : Visit the official webiste of Gruha Jyoti scheme Karnataka

Step 2 : Now select second option “Gruha Jyoti” Scheme.
Step 3 : Register to the portal by selecting prefered language (English / Kannada), Account ID
After entering Account ID number, system automatically displays Account Holder Name as in ESCOM and ESCOM Name and Account holder address as per ESCOM.

Step 4 : Now select Type of Occupancy : Owner / Tenant
Step 5 : Now Enter correct Aadhaar Number, Applicant Name as in Aadhaar Number and Mobile number for communication purpose.
Step 6 : Now, accept the declaration by selecting ‘I Agree“
Step 7 : Now enter captcha shown in the box correctly

Step 8 : Now OTP will be sent to given mobile number, enter the OTP
(An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Please note that the OTP received is for single use only and is valid for 15 minutes from the time of request)
Step 9 : You are done.
