Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly on Wednesday said that there was a discussion about holding a 10-days winter session of the State legislature in Belagavi.
Speaking to reporters in Dharwad, he said that there was a discussion about the date of the Belagavi session. The Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will decide and announce dates in the cabinet. It was discussed that the session could be held for ten days.
Responding to the suggestion from reporters that only ten days session is not enough time for discussion of all issues, he said, “I will share this suggestion with the Government that the journalists have requested for a longer session at Belagavi”. In the end, we will do whatever the government decides in the cabinet. He said let’s make this session successful.
