Google has launched the Street View feature on its Maps application offering 360-degree, panoramic and street-level imagery. The feature is now available for Belagavi City. People will now be able to explore landmarks while sitting at home, and virtually experience any place or restaurant.
What is Street View? Street View, by Google Maps, is a virtual representation of our surroundings on Google Maps, consisting of millions of panoramic images. Street View’s content comes from two sources – Google and contributors. Through our collective efforts, we enable people everywhere to virtually explore the world.
Feature is also enabled for Cities such as Bagalkot, Hubballi, Viajayapura, Kalaburgi etc in North Karnataka and most of the cities in South Karnataka.
How to see Google Maps’ Street View :

Step 1: Open the Google Maps app.

Step 2: Search for a place or drop a pin on the map.
Step 3: Select the place name or address.
Step 4: Scroll down and select the photo labeled “Street View” or the thumbnail with a Street View icon.
