Belagavi city residents can monitor the movement of door-to-door garbage collection trucks/tippers and receive notifications through a mobile application.
Belagavi Smart City Ltd (BSCL) has developed mobile app ‘My Belagavi’ that enables residents to track the exact location of garbage collection vehicle, In addition it also provides information like Name of Head Incharge, Mobile number of driver, Vehicle number, Vehicle type, speed, ward number, Date n Time.
This system will help residents as they will get to know when the vehicle is about to reach their locality.
Know how to track/get notification on mobile :

- Install ‘My Belagavi‘ mobile app from PlayStore or Apple Store.
- Sign up if you are new user, or login by prividing necessary details.
- Dashboard opens
- Choose ‘Smart Solutions‘
- Click on ‘Solid Waste Management‘
- Now a pop-up appears on mobile screen – ‘Link your RFID Tag number with your mobile number‘
- Now enter RFID tag number that Smart City has attached to your house walls or compound. And Click ‘Confirm’
- You are done.
- Now on, You will start recieving mobile Notifications when garbage pick-up truck/vehicle is near your location.
- You need not to open app to get notification, Just keep ‘My Belagavi’ app in your mobile to recieve automatic notifications.
