Covid-19 infected people can now get free treatment in the reserved beds of registered private hospitals in Belagavi, said Dc MG Hiremath.
As per the government directive, 50 per cent of the beds in private hospitals registered under the Ayushmann India Health Karnataka scheme are reserved for providing free treatment to covid-19 infected people, he said.
Action by the District Administration to ensure bed availability and free treatment:
Treatment for Covid patient’s is being given in 06 community health centers, 9 taluk health centers And at the Belagavi Institute of Medical Science Hospital in the District.

The district administration is taking measures to ensure that the infected persons get beds and free treatment at registered private hospitals, said the DC MG Hiremath.
