After much delay for the second time Bhoomi pooja was performed for the development of Private bus stand near Railway station today by Belagavi North MLA Anil Benake.
Private bus stand to be developed at the cost of Rs.1.86 Cr. Under Smart city project.
Works :
Development of Pathway’s, Drain, Passinger waiting area, ticket counter, Kiosks, Tensile fabric works, electrical works etc.
Due to objections from Cantonment board , work was on hold, however after much delay Cantonment Authorities sorted out issue and gave green signal for Development.

Cantonment CEO Shri. Barchaswa, Vice president Smt. Niranjana Astekar, BJP Mahanagar Belagavi President Shri. Shashikant Patil, BJP Belagavi uttar mandal president Shri. Pandurang Dhamnekar, elected members of cantonment Board, BJP Padhadikaries, Karyakartas and Smart city officers were present.
