Subsequent to completion of Doubling Railway Line between Belagavi to Suldhal Stations (27.143 km.), trial running is being conducted by South Western Railway.
Further, as part of statutory inspection by Commissioner of Railway Safety (CSR), Southern Circle, Bengaluru, Motor Trolley Inspection and Speed Trial by Special Train will be conducted in the same section on 27-06-2022 and 28-06-2022.
During the speed trial, train will run at a speed in excess of 120 kmph on newly laid double line and subsequently, regular train services will be introduced between Belagavi-Suldhal on UP/DN doubling line.
Authorities have advised general public to be cautious and not to trespass the railway line, which will endanger the lives. Trespassing the railway line is a punishable offence under Section-147 of Railway Act, 1987.
