As per State Government guidelines and Due to the limited availability of Covid-19 vaccines supplied by the Centre, MG Hiremath, Belagavi DC on Monday said to prioritise vaccinating those who are due for second dose of Covishield inoculation in the month of May.
According to experts, only those who have completed at least 12 weeks (84 days) after receiving the first dose of Covishield, will be eligible for the 2nd dose.
He said that Covid-19 vaccines are being distributed in all taluka hospitals, community health centers and primary health centers, depending on availability.
