Roads blocked by rain must be repaired and cleared for traffic. Roads should be cleared first with priority on traffic. The district officials were instructed to take steps to prevent any death and pain.
Govind Karajol, deputy chief minister and district incharge minister who participated in the video conversation, said that 47 roads in Belagavi district have been shut down and 51 villages have got submerged; He explained that 224 houses were partially and one house was fully collapsed and there would be no deaths.

Further he explained that, Water has penetrated 51 villages of five taluks in the district. 26 Kalaji centers have provided shelter to 2000 people.

A person has died from a power accident in Khanapur Taluk and action will be taken to provide adequate relief. Similarly, 223 houses were partially damaged; One house has completely collapsed. He also informed the chief ministers that funds should be given to those who lost their homes due to rain.
