The Shree Nagar to Vantamuri stretch has seen highest success rate as most of the plants have survived and growing faster as contractor maintaining them by watering once in two days. And not just that BSCL has installed iron railing on the medians to restrict the entry of animals and people.
The stretches which had turned into a desert are now slowly turning green. Authorities have also placed Concrete planters (pots) with samplings on Footpaths. But most of the plants on the planters (Pots) are either eaten by the stray cattle as they are kept open or dried due to weather. However contractor has started planting new samplings again here.

Smart Translocation : Some fully grown trees that could have been cut down for road widening were rescued by Belagavi Smart City officials. They were safely uprooted and transplanted on the premises of KMF Dairy on Kanabaragi Road. As many 28 trees of native species were taken away from Srinagar in Belagavi to the dairy premises.
Each tree was uprooted using earthmovers and some workers to see that the roots were intact. It was then carried on large trucks to the dairy premises where pits were dug large enough to hold the roots.
