According to Railway officials, trial run of Vande Bharat Express will be conducted between Dharwad and Belagavi next week. The authorities are making necessary preparations for this trial run, which will take place once a new trainset arrives from the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai.
It is anticipated that the KSR Bengaluru-Belagavi Vande Bharat will commence its commercial run by the end of this month. Initially, the train will consist of eight coaches, with the possibility of adding more in response to demand. The fare for the journey will be announced soon.
According to the railway board’s approved timetable, the Vande Bharat Express will complete the journey from KSR Bengaluru to Belagavi in 7 hours and 45 minutes, surpassing the current fastest train by over two hours. Similarly, in the opposite direction, it will cover the identical distance in 8 hours and 10 minutes.
The train 20661 KSR Bengaluru – Belagavi will start at Bengaluru by 5.45am. The train will reach Belagavi at 1.30pm and it will return by 2 pm. By 10.10pm, on the same day, the train will reach Bengaluru.
