A Bharat Gaurav train from Bengaluru to Kashi which was supposed to depart by the last week of August got delayed citing various reasons.

The first Bharat Gaurav Train from Karnataka have the seven-day tour programme at discounted rates for the pilgrims will cover holy places including Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.
The sharp escalation in the initially proposed ticket price per passenger for the 7-day package and the changes in the planned route are cited as reasons for the delay. The cost per ticket has now been specified as Rs 25,000 which was decided as 15000 initially. The New Indian Express reported.
Initially it was planned to run via Hubballi, but now officials are thinking to run this train via Belagavi as the per the new proposal. Train likely to have its maiden run in the month of November or December.
