Dates: 13/12/2021 – 24/12/2021 – In view of the Winter session of the Karnataka Legislature at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha Belagavi, the Commissioner of police has announced some traffic diversions for smooth flow of VVIP’s. With the participation of Hon’ble Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, Presidents, Chairpersons, Ministers of the Cabinet, Ministers of Parliament, Vidhan Sabhas, Various Department Secretaries, Senior Officers and other dignitaries, All types of vehicular traffic will be restricted on the following selected roads in the city from 13/12/2021 to 24/12/2021 to ensure that there is no disruption to traffic in the city.
The public can use the following routes to move, and park the vehicles as instructed by the local police. Heavy vehicles entering the city are requested to cooperate with the police department on the proposed change in route.
Details of roads where VVIP’s travel:
1) Belagavi Airport to Sambra bridge (Bagalkot Cross, Mutaga, Muchhandi, Shondolli Cross, Basavan Kudachi, SC motors, Sambra under bridge)
2) Service Road from Sombra Under Bridge to Muchhandi Garage.

3) From Kanakadasa Circle to Srinagar Garden, KLE Cancer Hospital Service Road.
4) Suvarna Vidhana Soudha to Fairfield Marriott hotel (Pune-Bangalore National Highway No. 4)
5) Road from Kanakadasa Circle to Circuit house
6) Under bridge (Sambra road) to Gandhi Nagar service road – Road to Hotel Sankam – Nithyananda Circle.
7) Killa Lake – Ashoka Pillar Circle – Rani Chennamma Circle Road – Club Road
8) Old PB road (Sangolli Rayanna circle to Shri Krishna Devaraya Circle)

heavy vehicles movement : traffic diversion
1) All the heavy vehicles from Kolhapur, Nippani, Sangeshwar passes through College Road should take right turn at Jinabakul Circle and move through Bauxite road (Forest Naka, Hindalga Ganesh Mandir, Gandhi Circle, Shourya Chowk, Kendriya vidyalaya 2, Sharkat park, Globe theatre circle to reach Khanapur Road)
2) All heavy vehicles moving through Khanapur road via Channamma Circle should take a left turn near Globe Circle (move through Sharkat park, Kendriya vidyalaya 2, Shourya Chowk, Gandhi Circle, Hindalga Ganesh Mandir, Forest Naka to reach Bauxite road)
