Belagavi may soon get air connectivity to the blue city Jodhpur. Star Air will start flight between Belagavi and Jodhpur which will be further connected to Ahmedabad. In return, from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur and then to Belagavi. These flights will br launched under Udan regional connectivity. The same proposal has been submitted by the company to DGCA.
The company may get a schedule this month. Airport Director of Jodhpur, GK Khare says that Star Air has proposed to start flights between Jodhpur to Belagavi and Ahmedabad. It is awaiting approval from headquarters.
Star Air is currently operating flights in Kishangarh and Surat sectors. It is expected to starts flights between Jodhpur to Jamnagar, Ahmedabad and Belagavi. For this, a 50-seater Embraer aircraft will be operated. Having fifty seats will ease passengers going to these cities.
