Ramesh Jarakiholi, the district Incharge minister, said the sports complex would be built in the 100-acre land in Belagavi soon.
Speaking at a press conference after the Independence Day celebrations at the Belagavi District Stadium, he said the lease of the Belagavi District Stadium will expire next year. “We will build a sports complex in Belagavi soon”
As per sources, Sports Complex will have features like a synthetic athletic track, a jogging track, a tennis court, a basketball court, a swimming pool, sports lighting for cricket ground, an athletic and football ground, Indoor Stadium and an uninterrupted power supply system
