Public bike sharing system will be implemented in Belagavi very soon. Belagavi Smart City Limited has invited tenders to implement the project on DBOMT.
Currently, the Public Bike Sharing (PBS) system under the name of ‘Trin Trin’ is in force in Mysuru. Belagavi Smart City Limited is also planning to implement it in the city and has called for tenders. The tender will open in March.
Tenders can be submitted in 6 months to develop the project and administer it for 36 months. The tender has stipulated that 100-bicycle , 100-electric bicycle, 100- e-bike and 20 stations should be constructed.
The rent have been fixed as follows : For 0-30Mins ride, 5rs for bicycles, 15rs for electric bikes and Rs. 20 for e-bike.

And for the next 2 hours, 10Rs for bicycles, 40Rs for electric bikes and Rs. 50 for e-bikes.
And for 2 to 4 hours rental, rent will be Rs.20 for bicycle, Rs.100 for an electric bike and Rs 120 for an e-bike.
